About Studio Russe

We would like to invite you to make a stop off during your vacation or business trip into the heart of the most european part of Bulgaria - the city of Russe. You will be accommodated into a cosy, quiet flat, situated 15 minutes walking from the centre of the city.

A cosy, quiet flat, situated 15 minutes walking from the centre of the city. It is 5 minutes from one of the main streets, leeding to the center and most famous shopping area where the big supermarkets are - Kaufland, Praktiker and MR. Bricolage, where you can take a bus or taxi for all directions.
There are pharmacy, night clubs, restaurants and fast-food shops not far from the flat.
In the apartment you will find a wide kitchen for self-cataring with a dining-room- well equipped with all the necessary utilities - cooker, fridge, microwave, cups, glasses and plates, balcony. There is always hot water and central heating in the flat.
There are 2 bedrooms with cozy double beds, soft pillows and quilt /linen and towels included/
There is a separate toilet and wet bathroom
If you want just to relax, you can lie back on the sofa in the living room, read a book or watch TV

The city of Russe is located on the high right bank of the Danube River,496 km from the outflow of the big river in the Black Sea, 320 km northeast of Sofia. The largest Bulgarian city on the Danube has a long history - from the 5000-year-old prehistoric settlement, the Roman town of Sexaginta Prista, or the Port of the Sixty Ships, and the important Ottoman harbour and fortress, to the present economic and cultural centre where Art Nouveau-inspired ornamentation drips from delicate turn-of the-century houses.
About 200 buildings in Russe are listed in the architectural and historical heritage of Bulgaria, the most outstanding of which are: the 1908 Liberation Monument, the Drama Theatre and High School of Music, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Dohodnoto Zdanie, the Kaliopa house and many others. The ancient places of interest include Leventabia Fortress, the Kyuntukapu Gate, the 1632 Holy Trinity Church, the Mahmoud Column. Russe makes a good base for exploring the nearby Rusenski Lom National Park, home to the dramatic Rock Monastery of Ivanovo and the ruined town of Cherven.
If you are interested in the day and night life of Russe we can show you all the places of interest - historical, cultural monuments, european architecture of the central buildings, the square with the fountains and the monument of the liberty, shops, restaurants, night-clubs. You can hire bicycles from us and make a round trip of the city and in the park following the Danube river. You will see the Romanian coast and the only bridge accross the Danube to Romania - The bridge of Friendship. 15 minutes by car west from Russe is the National Park - the most favourite place for ornithologists, nature-lovers. You will find there historical places of interest under the protection of UNESCO, the longest cave in North of Bulgaria with bats and stalagmites, stalactites, etc, rocky churches and monastery and many other breathtaking places. We can organise a trip to all these places if you are interested in going.
