About Rosy Guest House

Welcome to Rosy Guesthouse. We are a relaxed guesthouse run by welcoming, experienced travellers and a team of friendly and motivated Khmer staff. We have one of the most tranquil settings and views in Siem Reap alongside the Siem Reap River and Royal gardens which can be taken in from our river front bar and restaurant, games room with pool table and big screen or our guest only balcony.

All of our rooms have 80+ channel international satellite TV and DVD players with free movie rentals for our collection of 300+ hit movies, comedy series, classic films and music DVDs. All bathrooms have hot water showers. We clean all day long as we know how important cleanliness is; every room is cleaned everyday. We provide linen and towels in all rooms as standard; towels changed daily as needed. All rooms are non smoking, but tranquil smoking areas are provided.

Please note our double rooms with shared bathrooms have � sized beds. All en suite rooms are quoted per night with fan and air conditioning, all shared bathroom rooms are fan only.

In keeping with our continual improvement programme 50% of our rooms, including our deluxe double en suite rooms, single en suite room, double rooms with shared bathroom and our shared bathrooms themselves have all been renovated within the last 6 months featuring many environmentally friendly, energy/water saving devices, fabulous new decorations as well as features designed for your convenience and comfort. We have also renovated our balcony complete with new seating and covers making it the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine or a cold drink after a long day at the temples. Our resident improvement team have overhauled our bar and restaurant area; new slic look and tasty new drinks menu, topped off with disco ball for those special occasions!! We are continually trying to improve your experience with us; suggestions welcomed!

We can even organise for a taxi to be waiting for you at Poipet if you are coming from Thailand or from the Phnom Penh airport if you are flying into Cambodia (please contact for details). We have loads of local knowledge and insider hints as well as a FREE reference library of more than 50 Angkor specific, Cambodian, regional and worldwide guide books.

Our very popular bar and restaurant offers both Asian delights with our traditional Khmer food cooked by our fabulous (we think so!) Sala Bai hospitality school trained chefs and a taste of home with our Western food (Vegemite, Marmite, Colman's mustard and HP sauce when available as well as the best burgers in town!). With over 50 different spirits and beers you are bound to find something you like; Bunderberg rum available! If the conversation from our Western or Khmer staff doesn't keep you entertained then make use of our free pool table, lots of pub games or our daily delivered newspapers.

We have also been acknowledged with a Heritage Watch gold member status for our responsible tourism efforts for 2008 (www.heritagewatch.org) .Your stay supports a variety of charities in Siem Reap including free school art lessons, clean water supply for local villages and donations to local children's hospital.

If you are looking for reference prices these are displayed per person per night. We take Hostel World bookings for the following day; if you see a room available that you want we suggest booking it as we are rarely able to accommodate walk ins especially for our great value budget rooms!
