About Barrie Summer Hostel

Open from May 1 to August 17 each summer, this student residence complex is very suitable for extended visits. Our condo-style suites allow your group or family to book the whole suite for themselves, or you can book an individual bedroom and share the suite's facilities with other travellers.

Each suite features its own kitchen, living room dining room area with air conditioning and cable television, oversized bathrooms (with 2 showers, 4 toilets and 4 sinks), large en suite storage areas and up to six individual bedrooms. You get all of the comforts without the expense. Just remember to bring your own towel and toiletries!

Barrie, Ontario, is located on Kempenfelt Bay which provides the city with beautiful waterfront access and pathways that are ideal for walking, biking or rollerblading. It enjoys a central location for visiting amusement parks, historical and religious sites, and the world's largest fresh water beach.
