About Downtown Hostel

Welcome to the Downtown Hostel in beautiful St. John's, Newfoundland. The hostel is located right in the heart of downtown on a quiet street, within crawling distance of the famous George Street and its 82 bars.

Our hostel is the perfect place to meet other travelers from all over the world and a caplin swinging Newfoundlander while sharing a well-stocked kitchen and a cozy common room.

This small hostel is in easy walking distance to shopping and all major tourist attractions including Signal Hill. Tours to Cape Spear and Newfoundland dinners can be organized.

St. John's location makes it an ideal area for whale, bird and Iceberg watching during the summer. The Downtownhostel can provide you with discounts and also organizes tours for you.

If you come to St. John's for hiking we can supply you with any information for day hikes including maps for the famous East Coast Trail.
If you come with your bicycle you can park it in our backyard and if you need a box for shipping we do our best to provide one.
