With public transportation service available just a couple of blocks away from the hostel, there is no reason for you to go all the way to San Jose. All buses leaving San Jose to the beaches, volcanoes and mountains, or even to Nicaragua and Central America, stop in Alajuela, and the other way around.
Alajuela is home of many tourist sites, including the Butterfly Farm, Poas Volcano, the Serpentarium and the Aviary…to name just a few. Also Restaurants, parks, churches and a large supermarket are located only one block away
Our Hostel has bran new beds with orthopedic mattresses, neat pillows, sheets and towels.
It has 2 private rooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Also, 3 Dorm rooms that can be either private or shared with 6 single beds. The house has 2 shared bathrooms with hot showers, community kitchen, TV room, reading room, and benches outside.
