Why stay in Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon as it is also called, is Vietnam's largest city and one of the most popular places to visit. It was once the capital of the Republic of Vietnam (the south), and many of the main attractions are war-related. Ho Chi Minh City is also a great place to sample the incredible variety of Vietnamese food and shop in the city's excellent markets.
Getting around in Ho Chi Minh City can be a challenge - the sidewalks are overrun by motorbikes, so stay alert while walking.
