Why stay in Helsinki?
Finland's capital city of Helsinki is an international and cosmopolitan delight, although it may lack the typical "sights" you might be used to in other European cities. Still, Helsinki is blessed by its proximity to the water and the nearby islands offer lots of interesting things to do.
