Glasgow was also the birthplace of the famous art nouveau architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and his influence can also be seen throughout the city. The Glasgow School of Art, which Mackintosh designed, is considered one of the finest art schools in the United Kingdom. Save some time and energy to enjoy Glasgow's famous music scene, too.
