    Sometimes a hostel, sometimes a hotel or B&B, etc

    Economy / shared information from other travelers / kitchen & laundery facilities

    • Best Moment
      Meeting people of a like mind.

    • Worst Moment
      The state of some kitchens, rooms & the inconsideration of others in some dorms.

    • Biggest Hurdle, Obstacle or Difficulty?
      Not knowing the standard of accommodation prior to booking.

    • Biggest surprise?
      The difference in standards from one hostel to another within the same price range/country.

    To assure a place when arriving after a long journey.

    Too many to pick just one.

    As previously stated.

    Nomads, Merida, Mexico

  15. What is the biggest myth people have about hostels and hosteling?
    That it is only young & single people that use them.

  16. Why do you like to travel?
    To see different cultures & places, both natural and historic.

  17. What is your advice for other travelers wanting to stay in hostels?
    Ask other travelers their recommendations as you go, try and leave your options open as much as possible. Always carry a universal plug for the wash basin.
