  5. When it comes to travel accommodation (but leaving out crashing with friends, family or people you meet on the road), how often do you stay in hostels?
    Sometimes a hostel, sometimes a hotel or B&B, etc

  6. Where have you hosteled?
    Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico

  7. Would you stay in a hostel again on future trips?
    Yes

  8. Why or why not?
    Hostelling is a great way to meet people. Especially when you're travelling by yourself.

  9. Out of all your experiences hosteling, what was your:
    • Best Moment
      All the fabulous people I've met!

    • Worst Moment
      Walking in on a rather too "friendly" couple (if you know what I mean) in my triple share room... nice! NOT!!

    • Biggest Hurdle, Obstacle or Difficulty?
      SPACE in some rooms. As well as "interesting" roomies.

    • Biggest surprise?
      How good many of the hostels were, especially considering their prices.

  10. Do you ever book any of your hostel accommodation in advance?
    Sometimes

  11. Why or why not?
    It's easy!

  12. Why do you stay in hostels, as opposed to other types of accommodation?
    I like to stay in a variety of places, but hostels are the places I stay when I want to meet people.

  13. What is the biggest myth people have about hostels and hosteling?
    It's NOT ALL BAD!

  14. Why do you like to travel?
    New places, new people, new experiences! Seeing old things through new eyes. It's fantastic!

  15. What is your advice for other travelers wanting to stay in hostels?
    Be flexible!
