Yes - Why or why not?
Hostels are great places to meet people from all over the world. While in hostels, I could speak with other travelers and find out the places that should and should not be visited. - Out of all your experiences hosteling, what was your:
- Best Moment
- Worst Moment
- Biggest Hurdle, Obstacle or Difficulty?
- Biggest surprise?
- Best Moment
- Do you ever book any of your hostel accommodation in advance?
Sometimes - Why or why not?
Most of the time I am pretty spontaneous and I don't know where I'll be at a given time. When I know that I'll be in a place that will be crowded, then I'll reserve. - Who is the most memorable person you met in a hostel and why?
Ben, an Aussy I met in Rome. We had some fun times being touristy together and then we met up with him in two other cities, by chance! - Why do you stay in hostels, as opposed to other types of accommodation?
It's cheaper, and a good way to meet new people. - Is there a hostel you'd recommend to other travelers? If so, what is it and where?
Hostels Alessandro, Rome, Italy - What is the biggest myth people have about hostels and hosteling?
That it is dangerous and your stuff will get stolen. - Why do you like to travel?
Oh ya, traveling is a big part of my life! - What is your advice for other travelers wanting to stay in hostels?
Just be careful! Don't stay in a hostel that no one knows about. Do some research before you go and find out about the different hostels in the area you are going to. Step outside your comfort zone and try to meet some new people!
