  5. When it comes to travel accommodation (but leaving out crashing with friends, family or people you meet on the road), how often do you stay in hostels?
    This was my first time hosteling

    Europe

  7. Would you stay in a hostel again on future trips?
    Yes

  8. Why or why not?
    It's cheap.

  9. Out of all your experiences hosteling, what was your:
    • Best Moment
      The REALLY comfy beds in Berlin.

    • Worst Moment
      Not being given a refund that was supposed to be given to me.

    • Biggest Hurdle, Obstacle or Difficulty?
      Booking hostels at the last minute.

    • Biggest surprise?
      Walking into, what was supposed to be a nice clean hostel, only to find that it is the biggest dump you've ever been to.

  10. Do you ever book any of your hostel accommodation in advance?
    Sometimes

  11. Why or why not?
    If I know it's a busy weekend or time of the year and I don't want to be out on the street at night. Or if there's no EasyEverything to stay up at all night.

  12. Who is the most memorable person you met in a hostel and why?
    One of my friends from back home, who tragically died a few weeks later while hiking.

  13. Why do you stay in hostels, as opposed to other types of accommodation?
    It's cheap.

  14. Is there a hostel you'd recommend to other travelers? If so, what is it and where?
    Backpackers Hostel, Budapest, Hungary

  15. Why do you like to travel?
    I like to meet new people and see new places and experience new things.

  16. What is your advice for other travelers wanting to stay in hostels?
    Book in advance and do your research.
