pretty much all the time - Where have you hosteled?
Europe - Would you stay in a hostel again on future trips?
Yes - Why or why not?
It is a nice low-budget accomodation. Meeting other no-nonsense people pleases me. Makes it possible to travel with my kids. In the hostel we don't depend on each other. Some more comfort (space, privacy) should be welcome. Advertising towards elder low-budget travellers too. - Out of all your experiences hosteling, what was your:

- Do you ever book any of your hostel accommodation in advance?
Always - Why or why not?
I don't want to risk a closed door. I want to have a goal for the evening. - Who is the most memorable person you met in a hostel and why?
A 70-year-cyclist who told me that, as his wife died it became time for the "youth hostel business" again. - Why do you stay in hostels, as opposed to other types of accommodation?
Yes, I like camping in the summer. - Is there a hostel you'd recommend to other travelers? If so, what is it and where?
Salcombe, Salcombe, England - What is the biggest myth people have about hostels and hosteling?
That only very young people are coming. Not really a myth, it is largely true. Only recently they were called Youth Hostels. - Why do you like to travel?
Experiencing beauty, breathing other air, listening to other languages, biking in different environments, meeting other people, breaking out of the day-to-day rhythm. - What is your advice for other travelers wanting to stay in hostels?
Don't hesitate, try it out!
