  5. When it comes to travel accommodation (but leaving out crashing with friends, family or people you meet on the road), how often do you stay in hostels?
    This was my first time hosteling

    Europe

  7. Would you stay in a hostel again on future trips?
    Yes

  8. Why or why not?
    Cheap and easy to find. It was clean.

  10. Do you ever book any of your hostel accommodation in advance?
    Sometimes

  11. Why or why not?
    Can be convenient, but don't always have the time, or knowledge how to do so.

  12. Who is the most memorable person you met in a hostel and why?
    I stayed in a hostel in Germany with a group of 30 English people who were doing work experience, and one person was called Illana who was just good fun to be with.

  13. Why do you stay in hostels, as opposed to other types of accommodation?
    Affordable with less or no hidden costs.

  14. Is there a hostel you'd recommend to other travelers? If so, what is it and where?
    Das Jugend Herberger? (unsure of the name), Trier, Germany

  15. What is the biggest myth people have about hostels and hosteling?
    Possibly serial killers hunt victims there??

  16. Why do you like to travel?
    It is an exciting thing to do, and enables the traveller to have lots of memories and experiences that can be passed on to others in later life, in the pub, at school/uni, with familly or anywhere. Plus other people speak of places which makes me want to visit them.

  17. What is your advice for other travelers wanting to stay in hostels?
    Go for it, but it is generally better to have a few friends with you.
