  5. When it comes to travel accommodation (but leaving out crashing with friends, family or people you meet on the road), how often do you stay in hostels?
    This was my first time hosteling

  7. Would you stay in a hostel again on future trips?
    Yes

  8. Why or why not?
    Because it's loads of fun, cheap and you get to mix with people you would never usually meet.

    • Best Moment
      Meeting good mates while I was hostelling.

    • Worst Moment
      Probably the beds.

    • Biggest Hurdle, Obstacle or Difficulty?
      Probably being on your own for the first time.

    • Biggest surprise?
      How affordable and fun it all was.

  10. Do you ever book any of your hostel accommodation in advance?
    Sometimes

  11. Why or why not?
    Because in high season they can get booked up really quickly!

  12. Who is the most memorable person you met in a hostel and why?
    "Tad " from Neighbours, because he was famous.

  13. Why do you stay in hostels, as opposed to other types of accommodation?
    They are very cheap, comfortable and a great place to meet like minded people.

  15. What is the biggest myth people have about hostels and hosteling?
    Being smelly and dingy, and people staying there only being smelly bearded traveler types.

  16. Why do you like to travel?
    It definitely broadans the mind and boosts your confidence!

  17. What is your advice for other travelers wanting to stay in hostels?
    Go for it!
