Welcome to Hostel Lao !!!

Opened in January 2006, our hostel is a traveler?s oasis in the heart of Mendoza. We are located just two blocks from the Main Street where you will find restaurants, shops, cafes and bars. Walk 10 minutes in the opposite direction and you will find the bus station. Everything you need in Mendoza is just a short walk away.

Our accommodation is comprised of;
Gaucho, a six bed ground floor dorm room with ensuite bathroom. Upstairs we offer two six bed dorm rooms, Malbec and Mate; both are fully air-conditioned and have a bathroom each. Also on this floor is Tango, a large luxury double room complete with cable tv, sofa and ensuite bathroom. In the garden we have two double rooms in the pool house which share a bathroom. Each room has real beds, decent pillows and duvets for winter. Our doubles and upstairs dorms include towels.

Hostel Lao is a spacious hostel with limited beds and endless communal space. We have two large lounges, a sun terrace, dinning area, a large fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden with tropical trees, pool, hammocks, sun beds and a great BBQ area.

To walk to Hostel Lao from the bus station we recommend leaving the Terminal via the underpasses and walking up Allem Street for three blocks before turning left into Rioja Street. After two blocks you will find the Hostel on the left hand side. Or you can take a taxi which should cost no more than AR$4.
